Matthew Forkenbrock

My books are currently open and ready for some booking. I am currently booking for early 2024.  If you are booking for a guest spot, there is an option for that in my form as well. I am currently lined up to guest at Mayday Tattoo in Chicago Feb 5- Feb 10th. They are appointments only.  I would love to do large customs or pre-drawn for this visit!

Priority for booking will go to my flash pages, line book, and custom projects that interest me most. I have a book of 100+ designs in my line and flash books at the shop if you’d like to stop by and check it out. No cover ups/no working on other artists’ work.

To book, please visit the “Book Your Tattoo” button below and I will respond as soon as I can, but please be patient. Also, everyone gets a response so even if I decide not to take on your project I will let you know. Thanks so much!

I work Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 7pm. I try to tattoo only within these times so please keep this in mind when entering your availability. I will go past 7 if it is necessary to finish the session or tattoo.

Due to an increasingly busy schedule, I will  be turning down projects that do not fit my strong suits. I would strongly suggest viewing my recent work to get a good idea of the type of projects I prefer to take on. Desired projects will get first priority. This does not mean that I will not do small tattoos.

I do not tattoo portraits, realism, or cover-ups. I will not finish or fix another artist’s work.

I do not send artwork prior to the appointment. All designs will be viewable at the appointment.  Any changes that may need to be made can generally be done on the spot.

Pricing

My minimum is $250. This is to keep my projects larger. If you’d like something on the smaller side, I recommend checking out some of our other artists. Our shop minimum is $150. If you’d really like me to do it, I suggest getting something else small with it and make it worth your while! I may start doing walk-ins occasionally as well.

Please let me know if you’d prefer to stay under a certain budget and I will design and size accordingly.

This guide is just to be used as a reference to give you a general idea of cost. Variables that influence cost are size, prep time, detail, difficulty, placement and supply cost.
